Symbology
The Baptismal Font is the basin where the Priest baptizes the worshipper by immersion or putting some drops of holy water on the head. Usually it is hold near the door of the church (through Baptism the worshipper enters in the Christian Society), or the font can be found in the Baptismal area or chapel , otherwise near to the presbytery (symbol of the importance of the sacrament).
Shapes and composition of the Font
Our two models, are made directly from the copper metal sheet. They are lathed by our artisan inside our department production. Item 601 is then chiselled. It features an inner basin for the Holy water that can be removed.
These fonts are made by skilled craftsmen and it’s a product of high quality.
Finishing and Style
Baptismal font in bronze with silver or golden finishing.
The dark part of the cover has an antique finish (it’s oxidized).
Upon request it is possible to have the font without the inner basin, or also with a golden or bronzed finish.
As for all our items, Fonts can be realized with customized dimensions.
Fonts too, they are protected with Vitrex transparent Painting to protect the product for years.
