The Eucharistical chalice, with golden or silverplated finishing, is the most ancient symbol of Christian liturgy which consacrates the wine in the Holy Blood of Christ.
Model and composition of chalices
Chalice is composed of cup, maybe an under-cup, knot and foot. Our cup could be regular, flared or with an edge on the under-cup.
They are made by our lathe turner who works inside our firm, and cup can be made of AG800 and then goldenplated. Otherwise , cup are made of brass and then goldenplated.
(outside could be silverplated too and in this case are considered two-colours).
The knot has different styles , and in some items, the knot and the foot are just one piece.
Finishing, Styles, Customized details
Finishing can be silverplated, goldenplated or two colours.
Memeo chalices show different styles: from simplicity and sobriety shapes, to the chiselled preciousness items with stones too.
All our chalices can be customize, made in copper or brass or totally in silver with the possibility to engrave the priest’s name or a personal sentence.
The outside of the cups and the whole body of the chalices, are protected with a Vitrex transparent painting baked into a dedicated oven, this additional treatment avoids the appearance of finger dots, dust or humidity spots.
